Aditya Om takes a “Shot” on nepotism

 Nepotism is a raging topic in Bollywood and politics today and subject of debate in public sphere. Actor-director Aditya Om has just added his bit to the raging fire by making a short film titled ‘ Blood is all you need’ on the controversial topic. The film’s posters have generated a lot of heat on social media.

Aditya Om says, “I have presented the short film like a discussion but involving thriller elements, I hope that people might understand how hard it is for outsiders to break in the film industry and sustain themselves and the invisible politics and caste system of the film industry.”

 

The film stars Yogesh Upadhyay, Monika Khabrani and Aditya himself.

Aditya Om’s last Hindi feature film ‘Maassab’ has won more than 25 awards at national and international film festivals and is gearing for theatrical and digital release.

Goa last night on 5th December 2019 at Holiday Inn Resorts, welcomed the Dhak Dhak queen Madhuri Dixit Nene at Holiday Inn Goa. The grand event had a turnout of more than 200 people amongst whom were leading entrepreneur, actors, industrialists, politicians etc.

The event was out and out a great success and was attended by comedian Sunil Pal, Mahek Chahal and Ritu Shivpuri amongst many.

The Guest of honor Madhuri Dixit took the center stage personally to felicitate the entrepreneur doing great deeds in their specific fields.
“ We all love when our work gets appreciated, it boosts us to work harder and I love being apart of such event where talented men-women are awarded.” Said Madhuri Dixit while felicitating the winners.

The awards ceremony turned more glamorous when Movie ‘Wanted’ and Bigg Boss fame actress Mahek Chahal performed live at the event. along with comedian Sunil Pal also added their essence to the entire thriving event.

Actor Deepika Padukone looked simply spectacular at the launch of the book ‘Sridevi: Girl Woman Superstar’, that was held in Delhi recently. While we loved her Anamika Khanna ivory sari, it is her makeup and her hair which we cannot stop gushing about. Well, we hear the man to thank for this timeless look is French hairstylist Florian Hurel.

“We wanted the look to be natural yet very sophisticated. I always keep in mind to keep the natural shade, skin color intact and enhance one part of the face; either eyes or lips. Here, for Deepika, I decided to work more on her eyes by doing a bright shadow which is well defined by a brown smudge wing eyeliner,” he says.

What else? Turns out the look didn’t take more than an hour! Well, now that’s something!
